"Forbidden City"
This painting originally was far different than it turned out. I asked my mate what he thought of it so far and he said something to the effect, "That's not fine art!". "Wrong Answer", I thought. With that in mind I started smearing the paint around trying to erase what was originally there, but there was texture left over from the previous. I worked with it more without too much conscious care accept mixing the colors and accenting the original texture. When I felt the piece was done a name came to me right away. This piece was to be called "Forbidden City". Later, I learned there was a city in China's history called the Forbidden City. This of course, brought more wonder to me, as I didn't know this previously to naming the painting. I truly love this piece! One of my favorites.
